Off-Piste Intro Ski Touring

Off-Piste Introduction to Ski Touring are courses aimed to give clients the opportunity to experience Ski Touring and at the same time improve their Off Piste Skiing with our Team of Instructors. We are looking forward to offering a few weeks within March and April, including for those that may be keen, a trip planned to do the Haute Route towards the end of the season - April 2010.

These courses are ideal if you are looking to gain experience of Ski Touring and offer an introduction to this, safety issues and aspects with regards to Off Piste Skiing and some top tuition from our team. A chance to escape the crowded pistes, enjoy some real back country territory and are aimed at level 5 upwards.

A typical weeks programme may look something like the below based on three groups running, this would obviously alter dependent on numbers, conditions, weather etc.

Please note that if you are level 4/5-5-6 on all our Off Piste Performance courses we would expect you to hire off piste transceivers/shovel/probe or have your own. We have these available to hire and our instructor will confirm this in resort dependent on condition, or we will send out details of how to hire prior to your course.
