Lone skier in front of epic mountain range

Saint Foy

Sainte-Foy en Tarentaise (to give the village it's full name) is a little village just off the main road up to Val d'Isere. For years it has remained relatively unknown - particularly when compared to it's more renowned neighbours: Tignes. Val D'Isere, Les Arcs & La Plagne. But this is changing and there is now considerable new development going on around the resort.

The resort is at 1,550m and the lifts take you to 2,650m.

The apres-ski is limited to a few bars in the village.

Ski Area

Situated just below the famous Espace Killy (Tignes & Val d'Isere) in the heart of the Savoie region and fast building itself as a haven for off-piste skiers, Ste Foy boasts superb snow quality, unparalleled tree skiing and is never crowded. Groups will roam the terrain around Ste Foy itself, Tignes, Val d'Isere, La Rosiere and the twin resorts of Les Arcs & La Plagne - all of which provide extensive off-piste descents.
