Next Course starts in Chamonix on the 7th March - Off Piste Combination headed by Mark Gear and Simon Halliwell, we have two groups running. There are 1-2 spaces left on this, level 4-5 and level 5-6. Do contact us if you are interseted in this course.
14th March - Morzine, Off Piste Intro to Ski Touring with Dave Peek - 1-2 spaces left on this, level 5.

Well, January 2010 has come and gone and we have had an array of courses running throughout the Alps. Courchevel saw some empty slopes and great skiing, as did the Off Piste Combination Course in Chamonix with Mark Gear and our 3 day Courses in Morzine with our team over there. February is a little quieter for us, as we leave the busy slopes for the families and Europes holiday time. We next hit the slopes early March - 7th March in Chamonix, we have a few spaces left on our Off Piste Combination course, level 4-5 and level 5-6 group running. Then on to Morzine for our 'NEW Off Piste Intro to Ski Touring' course, level 5, plus a further Off Piste Combination Course, level 5/6 and an All Mountain Performance level 4 to date. If you cannot make a full week then our next 3 day course starts on the 20th March, we have 3 groups running to date, level 3-5. End of season see's us return to the Hotel Aigle where we take over the whole Hotel ( ideally ) with many new and returning clients. We have just run our indoor snow session at the Hemel Snow Centre which was great, Dave Peek heading and lots of ski short turn practise! Our next coruse starts on snow on the 28th November in Tignes, snow is looking excellent, there is skiing down to Val Claret already, if you are keen to get away before Christmas do contact us.

Next Course - Summer Ski Week - Tignes.
6-11th July we have a weeks ski trip organised in conjunction with Mark Gear, one of our trainers who lives out in Chamonix (Course in Tignes). We can arrange a full package staying in a Hotel for six nights with flights, transfers and the course. Skiing will be for approximately 4-5 hours a day and afternoon activities will also be arranged if you are keen to partake in these. Please contact us for full details.

Our final week completed in Tignes and Dave, Bryan and Tim have just left resort in blue skies with fresh snow on the tops of the Glacier. It has been a great end of season week, with the whole of the Espace Killy open, fresh snow for the first few days of the week and then blue skies for the rest. We have a few photos below sent in from Caroline Morrison who managed to escape for the 3-4 day trip. We shall be updating our news and Technical info pages further and adding all the photos we can onto the Gallery page. For now, we hope those returning to the UK had a great weeks skiing and look forward to seeing many of you next season on the slopes. Those keen to still get on to their skis this summer, we are looking to run a summer week back in Tignes around the 5th July 09 if anyone is interested, please contact our office. We are back up and running this weekend with our final winter seasons course in Tignes (18th April). Dave Peek, Annie D, Bryan Hogg and Tim Jackson are heading this week, so if you are going out, we wish you a safe journey and great weeks skiing, hope to report back soon with more photos!

Our team on the slopes have been so busy that they are still trying to type in their latest reports, so we apologise for the 'not so in depth' report back but on speaking with both Mark Gear,Jonathan Baird, Dave Peek and Annie Donovan, all groups have had some great skiing at all levels. Both Chamonix groups managed to get a number of trips up to the Grand Montet in Argentiere enjoying some great Off Piste Spring and Winter skiing here, and on the Valley Blanche. Now on to Morzine, the Off Piste Combination course run last week and our 3 day course running presently, have enjoyed some superb weather, great spring skiing and lots of it. Yesterday some groups skied the Valley de la Manche back down in to Morzine, with some super Spring snow under the blue mountain skies. A full day was had by all, we have another full day today and half day tomorrow before the end of this course. Our next course hits the slopes of Tignes 18th April. Would you believe more winter snow forecasted tonight 14 cm supposedly and then snow on and off for the next few days ! Winter returns !

Chamonix Update coming soon.... presently we are out in Morzine with two groups running level 4/5 and level 5 on our Off Piste Combination Week and All Mountain Course. Dave and Annie are sending in a report tonight so we shall update you with our latest ski news very soon.....for now we are heading off piste to enjoy some great Spring snow conditions with some beautiful mountain weather, probably not off the slopes until 5.00 pm this afternoon!!! Then enjoying a nice drink in the sun.....we hope !!

We are back on the slopes for our March and April Courses having steered off the slopes a little over the February holidays. Dave Peek, Mark Gear and Jonny Baird (Mountain Guide) are heading up this weeks Off Piste Combination Course in Chamonix. It's been snowing over Mont Blanc for the last few days offering some great Off Piste skiing for all our groups. The skies are now clearing and Jonny is heading off with our groups over the next two days, so we can report back soon as to which routes are being undertaken. Dave has the level 4/5 group and is really working on the groups abitlity to ski in all the different terrain and conditions they are meeting, with lots of safe Off Piste ventures for all. We shall update you again shortly. P.S. Even our Ski Trainers need to fall.....Dave looking for his or is it a fellows ski ???!!!

Last week on the slopes saw the eventual break in the 'high pressure' across the Alps, sad to see the sun go but a big necessity to get more snow on the slopes. There have been some great snowfalls, some dryer than others!!! But all have certainly improved the slopes and quality of the snow. We have had nearly 150 skiers in Morzine and Courchevel over these last two weeks enjoying the mixed conditions with some excellent powder. Often when the skies are not so blue skiers head early to the restaurants and perhaps do not enjoy the more harsher conditions that the mountains throw at us. But often on these days our clients feel they really benefit more from our tuition, learning how to cope with conditions that they may not normally stay out in, and enjoying the fresh snowfalls that lie on the piste, to the side of the pistes and further afield. Below are a few photos when the skies were back to blue and we could enjoy the fresh snow that has been falling last week and a few comments from clients that have skied with us recently. Our next courses are now not until March 8th, 14th, 21st and then 18th April. Still plenty on offer, if you need any further details do email us. For those that are venturing to the slopes in half term or before, enjoy the skiing and mountains.

Karen, Ewa, Jo, Hannah, Morzine 17th Jan 09 Ladies weekend. "Just wanted to say thank you and let you know that once again the Inspired to Ski course in Morzine has done the business. My little gang of four has returned home happy, sore and more confident than before. The weather was pretty grim, but Mr Tim kept us on our toes and getting down those hills [which we would never normally choose to go down] in his own inimitable style. There's already talk of more of the same next year... Thanks a million and hope you all have a great season".
A. Cochrane, Courchevel 18th Jan 09. "I am literally just back from your 'All Mountain course in Courchevel and I have had a totally fantastic time. Your 'Inspired' team were very welcoming along with the Mark Warner staff which made for a very enjoyable holiday. I had the pleasure of being instructed/coached by Brian and my thanks to him for giving me the confidence and tools to enable me to take my skiing on a level. I am sure the whole of our group felt the same. I am looking forward to putting this in practice as soon as possible and on my next holiday in March. I also look forward to my next inspired course which if, leave, finances and spaces allow, will be sooner rather than later. Equally my thanks to you and Julie for the preparation and information prior to leaving".

A HAPPY NEW YEAR to all. We have just completed two lots of 3 day Course in Morzine and our first Ladies Weekend. Beautiful blue skies, empty pistes, a little chilly at times but some superb skiing with Bryan, Dave and Tim. Dave is presently on his way to Courchevel as we speak, so we shall keep you updated on conditions there. We have 35 out this week (11th Jan) and 40 next week (18th Jan), plus a further 40 in Morzine on our 3 day courses (17th Jan), so we hope to have some more news, photos and hopefully snow forecasts for you! It's been an amzing start to the season, all three weeks in Tignes have seen some amazing snowfalls with some great blue sky days too! Here'e a few pictures from the early season courses! WOW, what a week of snow, amazing conditions, very empty slopes and some great early skiing. We have had some incredible snow falls, beautiful sunny cold days and had the opportunity to experience some great conditions on beautiful groomed slopes to bouncey off piste runs. Our first weeks skiers have been so lucky with the overall conditios, we thought last year was great! This coming weeks looks to be very similar with snow falling today, but clearing tonight and for the next few days some sun to enjoy the full Espace Killy. We've added a few more photos from last week, (Bryan and Ruperts groups) and will update you further in the next few days.

Clients are traveling out today to Tignes, some for our 3 day course, and others for the full week. We have 40 guests hitting the slopes in Tignes, which look fantastic to date. The ESPACE KILLY is opening this weekend, conditions look very good. More snow and cold temperatures are forecasted over the next few days. We shall keep you posted on NEWS FROM THE SLOPES.Dave Peek is heading our pre-season weeks, along with Rupert Godlring, Angus Meldrum, Tim Jackson, Bryan Hogg and Alan OK Smart. We also have Nick Quinn joining us this season. Have a great first days skiing everyone and we look forward to catching up with all the news.
